Dear Marriott / Four Points by Sheraton Bintan team, My family and I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Bintan for a 3D2N weekend getaway, and I wanted to extend my deepest thanks for the exceptional service we received. While there were a few hiccups during our stay — a choked toilet, a faulty fridge (which was swiftly replaced), and a miscommunication over a spicy dish for our young son — what truly stood out was how your team responded. Instead of brushing things off, your staff went above and beyond to turn each situation around with sincerity, care, and efficiency. A special thank you to Ditto, the restaurant and in-room dining manager, who handled everything with such professionalism and empathy. He not only arranged a generous late check-out for us but also organised a private transfer to the ferry terminal (7 minutes away) — all without us having to ask twice. Most incredibly, when I realised I had left bottles of expressed breastmilk behind in the room, your team immediately sprang into action. Within 30 minutes, the milk was found and delivered to us in time for our ferry back to Singapore. As a breastfeeding mother, this act of thoughtfulness and urgency meant the world to me. Your team’s warmth, responsiveness, and genuine desire to make things right left a lasting impression. In the end, we felt incredibly well cared for — more so than we have at any other hotel. What began with a few stumbles was more than made up for by service that far exceeded all reasonable expectations. Thank you again to Ditto, the hotel WhatsApp concierge team, and everyone else who played a part in making our trip so memorable. We truly appreciate the heart and hospitality that define your team. My husband & myself booked the Ocean View Room for 2 nights. They have a free pick up & drop off to the ferry. It was a 5 star hotel experience, from the time that we reached till our last day in the hotel. We were greeted with a super friendly staff (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name, but she was so friendly) she offered us a complimentary cake & drink while we waited to be checked in. The hotel was beautifully designed, rooms were extremely clean, great clean swimming pool, great restaurants & bar. Location is perfect, near to the beach & tourist areas. We used the hotel’s E Bike to explore around the resort, the rental of the bikes are super affordable. Definitely returning back to this hotel with our family. I would like to mention, I’m impressed by their customer service. It is beyond excellent! Each and every staff that we met, was extremely polite, friendly & attentive. They listen to all your requests and ensure your requests are attended to & on time. I might not have all their names but would like to thank each and every one of them. Thank you Manager Ditto & Jersica, Chef Joe, Rita, Rifai, Leni, Icha, Febri,Dona, Fatah, Hicho, Putra, Siska, Puspa, Nico, Delisa. All the staff have done beyond excellence & they deserve good appreciation. Thank you team, for making this stay a memorable one!

Location - it is on beach front - which is great. Water sports offered close by. Also near Lagoi Bay Lake - which is a lovely lake which we walked around but very hot any time of day. Room was perfectly kept. Pool could do with some maintenance and was always warm...maybe a little too warm. Restaurant was very slow - took an hour to get our evening meal - which is way too long. Did offer a fruit platter after complaining. Air con was great in room. Staff were so friendly and went over backwards to ensure everything was OK...which it was. Near Lagoi Plaza - which is almost a ghost town. There is really on the Yeah Mart (which has basic stocks), the Warung Yeah cafe - which is cheap and great food, Mama B coffee (best coffee ever and fruit tarts) and a gelato shop. One seafood restaurant and few food stalls which appear only to open on weekend. So basically nothing to do other than organise a tour or chill out. Breakfast had a great range - asian and western foods.

The hotel provided a pick up and drop off service to the ferry terminal. Arriving at the hotel, we had a welcome dance from the staff and healthy welcome drink (Ginger sweet Tea). Special shout out to Dika and Siska from Rempah Kitchen. They were very attentive and courteous to all our needs during our stay. Stunning beach with a great view of the sunset. It was very calming and relaxing. Good for family stay and definitely recommend for those who just want to be away from the city and relax. We stayed at the Cabana room and we had a great view of the beach. I would like to thank Guest Relation officers Jessica and Dian for the complimentary birthday slice cake. Both ladies were very polite and friendly and gave my 2 kids a handmade bracelet as a remembrance. From the front desk, housekeeping and F&B, the team were very friendly and committed to provide a seamless and memorable experience. We will definitely come back again.

Although I arrived outside of the ferry times, I was sent a car to take me to the resort, which prevented me from having to wait around for the resort coach. The staff were extremely pleasant and professional, and as a solo guest was made to feel welcome at all times, particularly from Febry and the staff at the Beach Club. I was upgraded to a suite, which had a nice balcony with a wonderful sea view. There are two large pools and a smaller pool at the Beach Club, which is great particularly during busier times. The food is well prepared, with an adequate selection of western and local cuisines. However you may want to try some of the restaurants nearby for a better selection of seafood dishes. Luckily for me the majority of my stay was outside of the busy weekend period, just be mindful of this when booking if you're looking for a quiet resort as it is popular for families with children. Overall a very nice stay.
